Twilight Tours of The Hegeler Carus Mansion
Special December Holiday Lights tours are available three Fridays in December.
16, & 23 December 6-9 pm Tours begin on the hour. Cost is $10

Special Family Tours
17, 18, 21 & 22 December
Tours will be filled with Victorian Christmas decor and stories
about how Christmas was originally celebrated at the Mansion.
Kids will receive a special gift. Cost: $7 adults & $5 kids
Tours start on the hour at noon, 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 pm.

On every second Sunday of the month there are NO 3:00 pm tours. Please join us at 4:00 pm for the Second Sunday's Lecture Series.

The Mansion is closed for tours on Monday and Tuesday, Easter (Sunday), Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), Christmas - 23(Day), 24, 25 of December, New Year's Eve, New Years Day, and July 4th.

A visit to the Mansion may be combined with a Canal Boat ride on the I&M Canal, a trip to nearby Starved Rock State Park, Matthiessen State Park, or the Lincoln home and tomb in Springfield. La Salle is within comfortable driving distance from Chicago (2 hours), Bloomington (1 hour), Rockford (1 hour), and Springfield (2.75 hours). I-39 provides easy access to the Hegeler Carus Mansion, located just a mile west from the Route 6 exit.
