Saturday, 1 June due to the Northwestern Strings rehearsal there are No 2:00 & 3:00 pm tours. Please join us for the 7:00 pm concert.
Saturday, 8 June due to a Private Wedding at the Mansion there are NO public tours.
Please see our Events page for a schedule of Sunday lectures. On days when
there is a 4:00 pm lecture there are no 3:00 pm tours.
Tours begin on the hour.
The Mansion is closed for tours on Monday and Tuesday of each week, Easter (Sunday), Memorial Day (Monday), 4th of July, Labor Day (Monday), Thanksgiving (Thursday and Friday), Christmas - 24, 25 of December, New Year's Eve, and New Years Day.
The Mansion handicap accessible entrance is located by following the gravel
drive to the North door.

A visit to the Mansion may be combined with a Canal Boat ride on the I&M Canal, a trip to nearby Starved Rock State Park, Matthiessen State Park, or the Lincoln home and tomb in Springfield. La Salle is within comfortable driving distance from Chicago (2 hours), Bloomington (1 hour), Rockford (1 hour), and Springfield (2.75 hours). I-39 provides easy access to the Hegeler Carus Mansion, located just a mile west from the Route 6 exit.
