It's tea time at the Mansion and you are in need of a new hat! On June 7th, join us for a Hat Making Workshop in the Open Court Editorial Office of the Hegeler Carus Mansion! Trained milliner and Chicago-based costume designer Sarah will show participants how to create and wear a fascinator, or hat, like one ladies would wear to tea parties. The class will practice millinery skills such as making a rosette out of ribbon as well as trimming/curling feathers for decoration. The ticket price includes all supplies needed to make your very own fascinator. Disclaimer- This event is non-refundable.
