"The Mansion is NOT Haunted" Tour
Digging up the history of the dead! In this fully immersive experience, the macabre aspects of death in the Victorian era will come back to life!
As you move through the Main Floor, costumed guides will entangle you in a web of customs and superstitions unique to the Gilded Age. Was being buried alive a real cause for fear? Who might you find lurking about in a Victorian cemetery?
Appropriate Victorian dress for guests is encouraged but not required (no spiked shoes). This is approximately a 1-hour tour. Persons under 18 are allowed with an adult, but please note that the content is related to Victorian Funeral and Halloween traditions and may be a bit macabre for some audiences.

Oh, Christmas Tree Tour
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas at the Hegeler Carus Mansion!
The Oh, Christmas Tree Tour is a guided, 1-hour, yuletide experience during which guests will walk through the Main Level and see some of the Hegeler and Carus living quarters on the Second Floor, fully decorated for the holiday season. After the tour, don’t forget to vote for your favorite tree.
The fully decorated, one-of-a-kind, trees will be available for auction throughout the holiday season with winning bids announced at our Tannenbaum Brunch on Saturday, Dec. 12.

The More the Merrier Tour
The Mansion is all dressed up for the holidays.
Want to explore more of the Mansion? The More the Merrier Tour unwraps more of the family history and holiday traditions while taking you to 6 of the 7 levels in the house! The Mansion will be decorated with the enchanting Victorian flair you are accustomed to and will feature Christmas trees decorated by local sponsors. This tour takes approximately 2.5 hours with walking breaks.
Dates/Times: Thursday, November 5 - Saturday, December 19 (excluding Dec. 12). Tours start at 5:30pm on Fridays.
Price: $125 per person with a maximum capacity of 10(If your group is larger, please contact us directly to schedule a private tour).
Note: Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your tour. This will allow you time to hang up your coat, use the restroom, and be ready before your tour group departs at its scheduled time. Tickets are non-refundable.

This is approximately a 1-hour tour and guests will be directed in intervals on a first come, first serve basis. Persons under 18 are allowed with an adult, but please note that the content is related to Victorian Funeral and Halloween traditions and may be a bit macabre for some audiences (not recommended for those under 10).
