Donation Makes Driveway Upgrade Possible at the Hegeler Carus Mansion

‘All new gravel donated by Tri Con Materials provides an authentic look to the Mansion while also providing function’

LASALLE, IL — The Hegeler Carus Mansion has been able to upgrade the Mansion’s driveway through a generous donation of gravel provided by Tri Con Materials.

With the donation of gravel similar to the original driveway, the Mansion continues to progress towards a more authentic experience. TJS Excavating completed the excavating, burying of gutters, regrading of the driveway, and the installation of the new gravel.

“This project was only possible through the generous donation from Tri Con Materials,” says Laura Walker, Executive Director. “This may not seem like a glamorous project, but it positively impacts not only the visual aspect of the Mansion, but it is also a functional element of the property that is utilized on a daily basis.”

Check out the new driveway as well as the many new upgrades at the Mansion by booking your tour online at hegelercarus.org.
